Presenters: David Swallow, Principal UX Consultant, & Mitchell Evan, Principal Accessibility Engineer
While much of the conversation around accessibility standards in Europe over the last several years has been centered around the European Accessibility Act (EAA), it is actually not the first regulation for digital inclusion in the European Union.
EN 301 549, Europe’s digital accessibility standard, establishes requirements for Information and Communication Technology (ICT) like computers and smartphones, web and software applications, and self-service kiosks. While this standard started out in regulations for public sector procurement and digital content, today it influences accessibility policy beyond Europe.
Join TPGi’s accessibility experts to understand the EN 301 549 standard and learn how you can implement a comprehensive accessibility strategy for your digital assets.
