Real Work: How Disability-focused Employee Resource Groups Can Enhance Accessibility and Inclusion
Presented on October 16, 2024 at 12pm ET
Presenter: Amy Albin, Learning and Development Coordinator at Vispero
Employee resource groups (ERGs) serve two main purposes: to provide a safe space where people can come together and learn from each other, and to provide thought leadership that solves for business objectives. One criticism of ERGs is that they interfere with “real work”, but when ERGs are done right, this worry is unfounded. This webinar will tell you how to do the real work through disability-focused ERGs. Topics will include:
- The five Ps of ERGs.
- How to benefit the business and your employees with disabilities.
- ERG members are crucial, and so is wider action from organizational leadership.
Join the “Real Work” webinar, and learn how your people can work together to make your workplace more accessible and inclusive through employee resource groups.
